This Group caters for beginners and those who are not confident in speaking the language. So it's essentially a conversation group of 8, of mixed abilities and we all enjoy developing our French skills and helping each other with vocabulary and basic grammar.
We meet at various venues every Friday at 2pm apart from the first Friday in the month when the u3a meeting is held.
French Level 1 is currently full, however there is a second Beginners' Group which is open to new members.
Finally, members of the Group may be interested in the activities of the Horndean Parish Twinning Association who arrange events and visits with our twinned town Aubergenville in Yvelines, France.
