This group both holds meetings with guest speakers and arranges visits to local locations of historical interest. To enquire about joining contact the convenor by clicking on her name at the top of the screen.

Our meetings have included talks about the Titanic, the Wey and Arun Canal, the D-Day landings, the agricultural workers Swing Riots in 1830, the First World War inventor and suffragette Hertha Ayrton Marks, and The Watercress Line.

Our visits have included the Petersfield, Portsmouth, Brickworks and Milestones Museums, Fishbourne Roman Palace, Southwick House, the Watts Gallery, House and Chapel, Fratton Park, the Weald and Downland Outdoor Museum, Salisbury Cathedral, and the Basingstoke canal.
