We will be welcoming back Neil Hansen at our monthly meeting to give us another of his Talks, this time about his career as a Ghost Writer.

Neil will share stories which provide a fascinating and insightful glimpse into a role that has brought him into contact with an extraordinary range of people including some very famous names, as well as many others who have lived extraordinary lives such as sports stars, showbiz legends, captains of industry, SAS men, pilots, a treasure diver, an explorer, a kidnap negotiator, an undercover investigator and a spy.

Neil is a natural storyteller and an award‑winning speaker who has entertained audiences across the UK and around the world.

Many of us will remember Neil's talk last year about his time running the Tan Hill Inn — the highest pub in the UK. Others may have seen the film with Ewan McGregor as an unnamed ghost writer hired to write the autobigraphy of a former British Prime Minister which probably proved more dangerous than any of Neil's assignments!
