Ems Valley u3a are hosting this Event which will be 50% classical and 50% Folk. See the poster for details of the programme and tickets which are available from Bookends in Emsworth or from the Emsworth Community Centre or from the organiser.

The musicians who will be performing at the event are Alice Beadle, Victoria Lynn and Juliet Beadle. Juliet is in the finals of the Sussex Young Musician Of The Year in July, and Juliet and Alice are studying for their Masters in Music, one at The Royal College and the other at Trinity Laban. Victoria Lynn is a folk musician who performs English folk sung unaccompanied, in the original folk tradition.

As well as their studying, they teach and travel extensively performing with their individual groups. This is the first time however that they have presented a Folk/Classical concert - a new concept!
