Our planned trip to Funland Fair at Hayling Island in January which had to be called off because of bad weather was rescheduled for our March monthly meeting.

One reason for choosing this venue was that it has been put up for sale and it is doubtful that it has a long future as a fairground. Although it may not be open everyday there is still plenty of scope for photography in the surrounding area if it is not.

We met at the Beachlands Car Park (postcode PO11 0AG) at 1:30pm. Although it was dry it was blowing a gale which led to some of us deciding to go straight to the MadHatters Tea Room & Gift Shop which is nearby at 232b Seafront PO11 0AU where we had planned to meet at the end of the afternoon..
